Leadership Camp

For three days, we had a leadership camp in Agrowisata Binadarma in Indralaya, OI. We felt so happy being there in that camping. We learned how to become good leaders. On the first day, we played many games, such as flying carpet, arsenic ball, legs hands, flying ball, spider web, magic stick and build houses. All games were games requiring our cooperation among the house members. It's different on the second day, we played flying fox and searched the coins at the bottom of the pool. For flying fox, we did not need cooperation because it was an individual game. But, for searching the coins, we needed it to get lots of coins. The last game was moving the flour to the bucket by using our hands. This games also required cooperation among the members of the house. In the evening, we should wake at three a.m. My house was the first house having scavenger hunt. At the first, Pak Aryo gave us three candles used for our trips. We continued our trip. In the first post, we met with a group of teams who questioned us about our readiness to become a leader. After that, we continued our trip and stopped at the second post. Here, we met our teachers. In this post, we did introspection ourselves for mistakes we've made. And then, we're into the third post and ordered to sing our yel-yel. Next, we went straight to a tree to find our names hung on the branches of the tree. Finally, we reached back the camping site. After all of houses did the scavenger hunt, we had a bonfire. On the third day, we just did raft building game and candle guard game. After the games, we were all ready to go back to the dorm. Before we went home, Bu Erma announced the students who got some predicates. There were 9 categories of good leader mentioned by Ibu Erma and followed by the announcement of the 3 best houses during leadership camp. The first winner was Manta Ray that got handy cam, the second winner was Hornbill that got digital camera, the third winner was Dove house that got a guitar. After the photo session, we returned to the dorm. This camping was very meaningful for us. We learned about togetherness, discipline, honesty and cooperation. My friends and I want to have leadership camp for another time. We have missed this camping.
